Ceiba’s Conservation Partners program supports trusted local leaders advancing conservation in biodiversity-rich regions. Partners are selectively invited based on a demonstrated track record and a sustained, productive relationship with Ceiba of at least two years. The program builds on long-term, community-based collaborations that strengthen local stewardship and keep land in local hands. Through this network, partners exchange knowledge, access funding and mentorship, and create opportunities for shared learning to amplify collective impact.
One pathway to becoming a Conservation Partner is through multi-year support from our Seeds of Sustainability grant, designed to jump-start locally led projects with strong conservation and community impact. Learn more about our Seeds of Sustainability grants!
Thanks to our network of Conservation Partners, Ceiba is extending its reach while supporting locally-conceived and locally-operated projects

Nonprofit initiative of Khamai Foundation dedicated to conserving Ecuador’s biodiversity through research, education, and community engagement. Through Seeds of Sustainability, Ceiba supports Khamai’s efforts to create reserves for amphibians and reptiles—often overlooked yet highly vulnerable—protecting entire ecosystems in the process. The foundation advances conservation by: establishing targeted reserves; protecting species not yet described or evaluated by the IUCN; and accelerating the discovery of new species.
